Graduation

Even though I finished with my masters back in August the actual ceremony was last weekend. Brent came up for it and my brother Aaron and sister-in-law Marlo also attended. The best part was Katie getting to be apart of it as a family recognition winner. She passed out gifts to the graduates after they walked across the stage. Can I just say - it is impossible for a girl to make those caps look good - or at least for me to do so! OH and I don't know why everything else is underlined, I don't know how I did it or how to undo it.

Time for a Tux

I went with Brent to pick out a tux over the weekend. Picking out a shoe was challenging but boy you have to love this look:)

Painting the Kitchen

My sister bought me yellow paint for my bridal shower. It took me all day to paint the kitchen, so much edging in the kitchen. It is very yellow but it is a beautiful color and I am getting used to it:) It is definitely bright and cheery!

Race for the Cure

Lithia let me drive the pace car for the Race for the Cure on Saturday. It was fun. My friend Erika and her family got to ride with me as well (and Katie of course).

Bridal Shower

I had my bridal shower last Saturday, May 2nd at my sister-in-law's house. It was a really great night. Brent's sister-in-law Lisa made Katie the above poster with candy and my dad & Joyce left a gift with Marlo before they left for their mission for Katie and I. I had to answer 22 questions that Marlo asked Brent and for each question I got wrong I had to eat a piece of bubbalicious gym. I only missed 7 but still my mouth was packed. Glad I know him at least that well. Here are the questions with his answers and if I got them right or wrong:
