Nothing good is every easy...is it

Everyone keeps asking if we have set a date. I hate that I have to say no but nothing worth doing ever comes easy does it? Before we can set a date I need to get my temple sealing canceled. Despite my Bishop's assurance that it won't take long it is definitely not sounded that fast to me. I picked up the paperwork from him last week and while I have filled it out and written my letter I still need a letter from my ex-husband or a paper trail that shows the Bishop has tried to get one from him, a letter from Brent's bishop detailing his temple worthiness and finally a letter from my bishop giving his approval for this action and detailing any problems that might occur. HOW FRUSTRATING!

Of course my bishop keeps assuring me that once we get all this paperwork together that it can be submitted to the first presidency who will respond quickly. He expects to have an answer by the end of March. Right now that sounds like forever away as people keep asking me for details about a wedding that I don't feel I can start to plan without knowing what date we can get married and exactly where that wedding can take place.

On the upside though many, many people have offered to help me plan the reception and that has greatly decreased my anxiety. I just don't seem to poses the girlie gene that likes to plan weddings. Anyway, everyone please keep us in your prayers that it will not only go quickly but that the first presidency will approve my request.

I will pray for you. Sometimes those things come through fast and other times it seems to take awhile. You really deserve this happiness though and so I am sure your paperwork will come through quickly. Hang in there!!!

I received the letter from my ex-husband today agreeing to having our temple sealing dissolved. He also requested in the letter to have his records removed from the LDS church records. So now I have my letter and Jeremy's letter. I also gave my bishop all the information required for the forms. Now I just need a letter from Brent's bishop and then one from my bishop before the paperwork can be submitted. From the bishop they go to the stake president and then off to first presidency. The bishop feels confident that it will be about 30 days from there to receive an answer. So please keep the prayers coming. I am so thankful for how things have transpired so far. Thank you!
