I found this picture when I was looking for ideas on how to decorate the cultural hall for the reception. I think it looks great and I love it. The problem is that other than the ceiling I have no idea how to achieve it within my budget and still buy all the other stuff needed for the wedding. So any ideas on how to do it? Anyone know of someone that has already created the chair covers?

Reception decorations
I found this picture when I was looking for ideas on how to decorate the cultural hall for the reception. I think it looks great and I love it. Karla, you really need to talk to my mom. When she did this for Lisa's reception (the "gym" is a lot smaller in GV) but for the ceiling she borrowed white Christmas lights but for the while she used rolls of tablecloths. You know the white rolls some wards use to cover tables at activities? Well you can't tell when it is hanging that that is what it is. It looked great. I would ask her since she decorated the gym just like this!!!
I have talked to Lisa about it. I was going to call your mom but realized I had your dad's number instead. Lisa talked to her and she said she would stop by my office sometime soon when she was getting her oil changed at my work. The biggest part I am trying to figure out how to do inexpensively is the chairs. I really love the cover and the sashes. I came up with a pretty good idea I think for the center pieces today. After Lisa told me how your mom did the ceiling I am feeling good about that one. I still would like to talk to her though. Brent is coming up next week and we talked about heading to GV again to go sledding so maybe she will be there.
Karla, i think that we are coming home with brent (Lisa, Alison, and I) so my mom should be home when you guys come sledding
